Summary

The team locks the sprint scope: the payments migration is in and the profile redesign moves out two weeks.

Decisions

  • Migrate payments before month end.
  • Push the profile redesign to the next sprint.

Action items

  • @Nerea Draft the migration plan by Thursday.
  • @Dani Review the billing tests.
Sample recap, with made-up data.

It joins, listens and writes the minutes for you.

  1. /join

    You call it in

Type /join while you are in a voice channel. Exposer joins and opens the meeting thread.

  2. live

    You just talk

It transcribes in batches while you talk, so the recap is ready shortly after you finish.

  3. /leave

    You get the recap

Summary, decisions, action items and transcript, in that meeting's thread and on the web dashboard.

What is left in writing after every meeting.

Every voice, on its own

Discord sends each person's audio on its own stream. Exposer uses that: it does not guess who is speaking, it knows.

  • 00:42 Nerea If we migrate payments this sprint, I need Dani for two days.
  • 00:51 Dani Fine, but then the profile work does not fit.
  • 01:03 Irati We push it two weeks and call it done.

Tasks with a name on them

Each action item mentions its owner in Discord, so they get the ping.

One thread per meeting

Named with its start date and time, in the channel you choose.

  • Meeting 8 Oct 2026 18:30
  • Meeting 6 Oct 2026 10:00
  • Meeting 1 Oct 2026 18:30
  • /config delivery-channel
  • /config timezone
  • /config thread-archive

Settings per server

Recap channel, time zone and thread archiving are set with /config.

If something fails, it says so

It saves the transcript while recording. After a restart it posts what it had and flags it in the recap.

The bot restarted during this meeting. This recap covers what was transcribed up to minute 24:10.

It records meetings. You should know what it does with them.

You decide how long audio lasts
It is kept so it can be played from the recap: 1 day on the free plan and up to 30 on paid ones. Each server can shorten that, turn it off, or delete a recording sooner.
No hidden recording
The bot shows up in the voice channel with a [🔴REC] flag on its name, posts a notice in the channel's chat and opens a public thread when it starts.
What leaves your server
Audio is sent to api.groq.com for transcription, and the transcript to OpenAI for the summary.
Recaps can be deleted
Whoever manages the server can remove a recap from the website, with its transcript and audio.

Common questions

Which languages does it work in?

It detects the spoken language, or you set it for your server or for one meeting. The whole recap is written in the language spoken the most. Very short phrases can occasionally be mistaken for a similar language.

Which permissions does it ask for?

View channels, connect and speak in voice, send messages, create and manage threads, send messages in threads, embed links, attach files, manage events and change its nickname. Manage threads is only used to delete a recap's thread when you remove the recap; manage events, to create the meeting's event; and the nickname, to flag itself as [🔴REC] while recording. It does not ask for administrator.

Who can see the recap?

Anyone who can see the channel where the thread is posted. If the channel is private, so is the recap.

How long can a meeting be?

It depends on the plan: 30 minutes on the free one and up to 8 hours on the paid ones. At the limit, Exposer stops recording and posts the recap.

What if everyone leaves and it is alone?

After 30 seconds with nobody else in the channel, it stops recording and posts the recap.

Who can change the settings?

Anyone with the Manage Server permission in that server.

Your next meeting can end with minutes.

Add it to your server, type /join and talk.
